La Liga matches from October with maximum spectators. What other major leagues will ease the measures?
Fans have always been an integral part of sport, and this is doubly true in football. Some of them often defend and love their club to the hilt, while others can argue for hours about which is better. They love, support and cheer for their club whether it is doing well or not.
Fans have always been an integral part of sport, and this is doubly true in football. Some of them often defend and love their club to the hilt, while others can argue for hours about which is better. They love, support and cheer for their club whether it is doing well or not. When tens of thousands of such people gather in one place, the atmosphere in the stadium and very often outside it is taken care of.
Unfortunately, because of the panic caused by the coronavirus, national governments have been forced to take various measures, including those relating to limiting the number of spectators in stadiums, and in some countries football has even been temporarily suspended (England).
However, to the delight of all football fans, some countries have recently begun to slowly relax measures, including those related to football.
On Wednesday morning, the Spanish Ministry of Health announced on its Twitter account that full spectator attendance should be allowed for all La Liga matches from 1 October.
This means, among other things, that the prestigious Atlético Madrid vs. Barcelona match will once again be watched by full stands. However, people will still have to wear masks and will be checked when they enter the stadium.
The last match in Spain where a full crowd was present was Barcelona’s duel with Real Sociedad on 7 March 2020, played in the Catalan capital.
According to other reports, football-related measures are expected to be eased in Germany in the near future, while in England, on the other hand, they want to finish the season with measures and start without them from the new season.
How the countries will proceed in the case of the remaining big leagues is not yet known. So we can only hope that the others will follow La Liga’s lead and that the stands in the stadiums will soon be filled with spectators again.
