A year ago, almost no one would have expected this, but now it’s official. Fans will see a rematch between David Kozma and the legendary Peter Knížet. It should happen in December. What does the reigning welterweight champion have to say?
It was December 2017, when the talented David Kozma fought the legendary Peter Knight under the cover of the XFN organization.
The Pink Panther lost on points back then, Monster was dominant in the fight and his win was well deserved. However, Kozma has matured incredibly since then. In fact, this is his last defeat on the domestic scene.
The longest reigning Octagon champion himself admitted that it was the fight with Knight four years ago that has moved him the furthest in his career so far. He should be a big favorite now.
“I’ve matured a lot in the four years since our first fight. Both wrestling-wise and mentally. Mentally, it was the fight with Monster that moved me the most in my career. But now it will be different,” promises Kozma.
“In the fight I will throw away all the respect I have for Peter and beat him. I won’t let him take the title at home in Ostrava,” added the champion.
The title fight will probably take place on 4 December at OKTAGON 29.
