Kozma: It’s a relief, but I’m sorry I didn’t finish it. Every game can’t be great. Who does he want as his next opponent?
David Kozma has already done it successfully. Once again he managed to defend the title of Oktagon champion by defeating the legendary veteran Peter Knize. How did he evaluate the fight and who would he like as his next opponent?

The Pink Panther was victorious once again, defending the Octagon Welterweight title. In Ostrava, he managed to defeat the legendary Petr Kníže after a five-round battle in which the 44-year-old veteran threatened mainly in the stand-up.
David Kozma, however, was embarrassed after the win. On the one hand he was happy, but on the other hand he felt disappointed with the way it all turned out. Even though the fans didn’t blow the whistle once during the game.
“It’s a relief, I’m happy to get it over with. I wanted to end it, I’m sorry it didn’t work out. I’m disappointed with the way the fight went, I’m not happy with the fact that it probably wasn’t the prettiest fight, every fight can’t be great, but I won and I’m happy about it,” the champion let himself be heard at the press conference.
As he mentioned several times before the fight, he didn’t get his head around the first fight with Monster more than four years ago. But now it was different. His head was clear and that, he said, was the deciding factor.
“I have the most belts in the Octagon, so I’m probably the king of the Octagon. When people say that, it’s probably true,” he said with a smile when asked if he felt like the King of the Octagon.
The Pink Panther was also asked how he sees his future. First and foremost, he asked about his next opponent, wishing for a fight with Brazilian fighter Kaiko Brito, who many fans believe was the one who was supposed to win against Monster for the challenger’s title.
The promoter of the organization, Ondrej Novotny, was not opposed to this fight either. Kozma sees his future in the Octagon. Unless an offer comes from the UFC, he sees no reason to leave.
