Kinclo’s career over? When I beat him, he’ll have nothing left, Vémola reacts to his opponent’s darkest scenario
Tensions are rising, the big event is approaching, the five-year long wait will be over. Before the fight and the weigh-in, however, Karlos Vémola and Patrik Kincl met over the internet on Ondřej Novotný’s podcast. The Terminator spoke about the potential end of his opponent’s career.
The tension is mounting, the big event is coming, the five-year long wait will be over. Before the fight and the weigh-in, however, Karlos Vémola and Patrik Kincl met over the internet on Ondřej Novotný’s podcast. The Terminator spoke about the potential end of his opponent’s career.
Patrik Kincl has been waiting five years for a rematch with the Terminator. On Saturday, he’ll finally get it. Recently, he even outlined a scenario that would make him think about ending his career. Specifically, it would involve his longtime rival ending him in the standup.
Should we expect something similar in the fight? Karlos Vémola answered that on the MMA Flying Around the World podcast, ” I think you can expect anything in that fight.”
However, that the Olomouc native would actually want to train the Inspector in stand-up is generally not expected at all. On the contrary. And that Kincl should then end his career? That is said to be up to the East Bohemian fighter.
“He’s got a lot of these predictions. But I’m certainly not going to end my career. We have a lot of fights arranged and I’m keeping my word, there’s no train running over it. What we have agreed, will be,” Vémola spoke about his future, who at the same time reassured the Oktagon promoter.
It’s just that Terminator now needs to win Kinclo’s belt to become middleweight champion. “And if he’s going to end his career or not, I’ll leave that up to him. But then what will he have left? Gamechanger threw in the towel for me, he won’t have the belt and he won’t get an offer from the UFC,” he said.
According to Vemola, then Kincl won’t even be the ideal challenger for the welterweight champion, who is none other than Kaik Brito, the conqueror of David Kozma. Why? Because he hasn’t fought at welterweight in the Octagon yet.
Kincl, of course, has no such negative outlook. He’s only looking for a win, and he’s not going to be swayed by such talk from Vemola.
