Kincl revealed the reason why he “ran away” from the octagon after winning with Pirate. You will understand the reason
At the previous gala of the leading Czechoslovak MMA organization called Oktagon 31, the new middleweight champion Patrik Kincl was crowned. However, the classic interview with the promoters while still in the Octagon and the subsequent greetings with the fans were very sharp in his delivery. Patrik has now come up with a pretty straightforward explanation that I’m sure every fan will understand.

New middleweight champion Patrik Kincl was crowned at Octagon 31
Patrik Kincl, who returned to the domestic MMA scene from KSW in Poland, came to the biggest domestic organization to fight directly for the middleweight title. His opponent in the fight for the Oktagon championship belt was Slovakian title holder Samuel “Pirate” Kristofich. Kincl put on a tactical fight and easily took the belt from Pirat in a five-round battle.
But after giving the belt to his wife in a classic interview with promoter Ondrej Novotny, he quickly said something to Palo Neruda and disappeared into the stands of Prague’s O2 arena. There was no time for a classic greeting to the fans and the media speculated what was the reason. Now we know the details that every fan must understand.
Now he has come up with an explanation as to why he quickly disappeared into the bowels of the O2 arena after the game
“It’s a bit traumatic, but it’s the first time it’s happened to me,” Kincl said in his youtube podcast Figth&Talk, explaining the reasons for his quick disappearance into the bowels of the O2 Arena.
“I timed my meal wrong this time, I thought I would go much later, but because of such jellies the fights were over in the first round,” he pointed with his own humour at the show’s guest Jakub Bahník, who won the first round against Irish opponent Jay Cucciniello at Oktagon 31.
“I want to go into the fight hungry, but this time I warmed up with a full belly,” the newly crowned Oktagon middleweight champion further described the situation. “Well, I got s**t on me,” he revealed the reasons for his escape to a burst of laughter from everyone in attendance.
“It was during the fifth round, the fight was over and suddenly my stomach hurt, so I left the interview, I want to come out of the cage and Novotny (Note: Oktagon promoter Ondrej Novotny) told me not to go anywhere,” he said with a smile about the unpleasant situation right after the victorious fight.
After a short half-lap, Kincl then relayed the information to Oktagon co-owner Palo Neruda and went to do the needful with the assistance of security. “People wanted to take pictures, but I was looking at the ground,” he said, putting to rest the speculations of the people in the O2 arena.
“Can you imagine if it happened in a cage,” Kincl imagined the worst-case scenario. “I would never get rid of it,” he added with exaggeration.
But he stood up to the unpleasant situation and not only with a funny story, he won many more fans. Now he would like to fight the most popular MMA fighter on the domestic scene Karlos Vemola, with whom he has a score to settle.
In fact, in 2018, he suffered his only defeat within the domestic MMA organization XFN, and his opponent was Vémola. Hopefully the fight can be made, because that’s the kind of fight the fans want to see.
