Kincl? Maybe he got a useless load from me. But that’s just the way it is, says Pirate Krištofič

The title fight between Samuel Kristofich and Patrik Kinclo is coming up. The match is also attractive because of the trash talk the fighters had with each other even though they had no problem with each other before the fight was announced. The Pirate, however, admitted that he slightly overdid it.

This Saturday, the fight will take place in the most popular weight division of the Octagon organization. Samuel Kristofich will want to defend his belt against a really strong opponent.

This will be Patrik Kincl, a former fighter of KSW, where he fought for the Welterweight belt in his last fight. Now he is moving up to the higher category and his goals are not small.

He wants to be champion and then take on Karlos Vemola, who he doesn’t exactly have to face. But the Pirate is certainly not his favourite either, even though they had no relationship before the fight was announced.

But their trashtalk was so active that it was often too much. “He asked for it himself. In the end, he ended up getting maybe an unnecessary load from me.

But that’s just the way it is. When someone tries to threaten my self-respect, I simply have to react firmly,” the Pirate told Kaocko.cz in an interview.

The fight will take place in the O2 Arena, the biggest Czechoslovak hall. How is Krištofič looking forward to this stadium? “A sold-out O2 Arena is something wonderful. That’s what I love most about our sport. I’m really looking forward to it, this is how it should look like.

The energy of the people is just doing so much. There was a time when I didn’t even know what MMA was. And I never dreamed I’d ever fight in front of so many people. I’m going to enjoy it,” he added.
