The Oktagon 34 tournament in Prague’s Štvanica is just two weeks away. However, the organization has announced that Jeremy Kimball, one of the big draws, will not participate. The reason is an unspecified injury. Now the Grizzly has sent a message to his fans.
Jeremy Kimball has been injured and will not be part of the Oktagon 34 tournament at Štvanica, which has been hopelessly sold out for several weeks, except for VIP tickets.
Although the highlight of the tournament will be the welterweight title fight between Karlos Vemola and Aleksandar Ilic, Grizzly was one of the reasons why fans were so excited to see him.
What happened to him? That hasn’t been announced, nor has the fighter himself explained it in a message he sent to his fans via Instagram.
“Unfortunately I’m not allowed to wrestle for another 90 days. So far I’ve only pulled out of a fight once in the past and damn it pisses me off. However, I will do everything I can to be healthy soon and hopefully I can face the same opponent in the future,“ he said.
The thirty-one year old American will thus take a break again, his last fight was in April when he easily defeated Nora Thomas Narm in the first round under the Octagon banner.
He has four fights under his belt now, having twice defeated Milos Petrasek and once falling to Tim Freucht. He fought in the UFC before that, but only won once in four attempts.
