Karlos Vémola is stronger than Kincl, says Roberto Soldić. How did Terminator train with the man who beat Kinc?

Karlos Vémola took part in a training camp in Düsseldorf, Germany, where he paired up with former Patrik Kinceloe’s conqueror Robert Soldić. The Croatian superstar, who has previously bantered with Terminator on social media, attempted to compare the skills of the two Czech rivals.

Karlos Vémola thoroughly enjoyed the camp in the German UFD Gym

In just one week at Oktagon 41 in Liberec, Karlos Vémola returns to the cage after a nearly nine-month break. He will fight the Samoan fighter Al Matava as a test before his rematch with rival Patrik Kinclo.

Although the eyes of most fans are already on the anticipated rematch with Kinclo, Karlos certainly doesn’t want to underestimate the stocky Samoan. As we have already informed you, after Thailand, Vémola left for another foreign camp.

This time he visited for the first time the German city of Düsseldorf, where he will pair up with the last defeated Patrik Kinclo. The latter was unable to beat Robert Soldic, who trains in the German UFD Gym, in the title fight in the Polish KSW organization.

Sparring with the Croatian fighter could be a great opportunity to sharpen tactics before the most anticipated fight of the Czech MMA scene in recent years, as well as before the fight with Matava. Soldic is a southpaw just like Samoan. Although Soldić and Vemola have teased each other on social media in the past, they both enjoy training with each other.

Is the Croatian fighter the reason why he came to the western neighbours? “I went to a completely foreign environment where I know there are top fighters, for the reason that I don’t want to be spared,” he said in a new episode of In the Skin of a Fighter on the Oktagon YouTube channel.

“I knew there would be a tense atmosphere here, so I knew they wouldn’t want to give me anything for free. I knew I would have to fight for my position here,” he explained his motive for choosing the UFD gym where Soldic trains.

He also spoke on camera in the video and tried to make a short comparison between the two fighters. “I was surprised that he went here, to the UFD Gym, because we sometimes tease each other on Instagram,” said Soldić.

“Great to have him here, he’s a great sparring partner. He’s strong, he’s got good control, takedowns. He’s stronger than Kincl,” he assessed the strength of both rivals. Both men can’t praise each other’s strength.

Oktagon promoter Ondřej Novotný confirmed the information in his podcast. “The guys from UFD say they don’t want to go with him, they say he’s an asshole, the way you’re wearing him,” he revealed in MMA Letem Světem communication with Soldić. He did confirm to the Oktagon co-owner that it’s not easy with Vemola when he gets you down.

Check out the full episode of In a Fighter’s Skin, where it’s not just Vemola’s training in Germany. In the aforementioned video, you’ll also find, for example, a statement from Dr. Pavel Kolar, who confirmed the severity of the Czech Terminator’s injury ahead of his rematch with Kinclo in December.
