Karlos “Terminator” Vémola returns to MMA! He won’t be bored in his comeback
Karlos Vémola, the most popular MMA fighter on the domestic scene, will face Marpo in the biggest challenge of his life at the end of May. But it doesn’t end there, just two weeks after that he’ll be back in the cage and fighting in MMA at Oktagon 33!
Karlos Vémola, the most popular MMA fighter on the domestic scene, will face Marpo in the biggest challenge of his life at the end of May. But it doesn’t end there, just two weeks after that he’ll be back in the cage and fighting in MMA at Oktagon 33!
Oktagon has announced that Vemola will step in 14 days after his boxing match with Marpo at Oktagon 33
Another Oktagon Prime 5 gala took place over the weekend in Šamorín, Slovakia, where in the main event of the evening Bojan Veličkovič defeated the agile Máté Kertész after a controversial judges’ decision.
As is customary, other events were announced in conjunction with the tournament, perhaps the biggest in the history of the organisation being Oktagon 33, which will take place, unusually, in Frankfurt, Germany.
The Oktagon organization announced the surprising information that the most famous Czech MMA fighter Karlos “Terminátor” Vémola will appear at the said tournament, which will be dominated by battles of at least European proportions.
Not many people expected this news, especially because the charismatic fighter is returning from a protracted shoulder injury and 14 days before the tournament he has a long-delayed boxing match with Marpo.
Kincl and Pirate are out of luck, Vémola calls out Brazilian Xavier
Although it was widely expected that Vémola would appear against the mainstays of Octagon 31 in his MMA comeback, things may be different in the end. In fact, after Patrik Kincelo’s victory over Samuel Kristofich, Karlos Vémola himself challenged the latter and offered the summer’s Stvanica as the date for a possible rivalry climax.
Naturally, Kincl seized on this and said that Karlos would want to escape from the rematch with him.
But in the end it seems that both mentioned fighters are going to lose. After Oktagon announced that Vémola will fight on June 4 at the Festhalle in Frankfurt, the Czech “Terminator” posted on his social media a surprising name he would like to fight. “Another opponent I have my eye on,” Vémola posted on his Instagram, tagging Rafael Xavier in the post.
The Brazilian fighter, who put on an incredible display against Poland’s Lazarz at the just concluded Oktagon Prime 5, fights in the organization’s welterweight division. Has Vémola hinted that there will be a fight at Oktagon 33 to determine who will later fight for the eventual welterweight title? There is a vacant belt there after champion Viktor Pest headed overseas to the PFL, which may tempt the Czech “Lion”.
