Just food? Ilic is the best middleweight in the Octagon after his win over the Russian legend! He leapfrogs Kinzel, attacks Muradov

Aleksandar Ilic was already seen as mere fodder before his fight with Karlos Vemola. After the fight, which ended in the first round, it was no different. However, he recently defeated the Russian legend and has now reached his career high in the world rankings.

On Friday, the Serbian fighter took care of a sensation. He was able to defeat Russian MMA legend Alexander Shlemenko on RCC soil. It is worth noting that Shlemenko was the 31st best middleweight fighter before the fight according to Fight Matrix rankings.

Shlemenko is also much more experienced than Aleksandar Ilic. After all, despite his loss to the Oktagon fighter, he boasts a phenomenal 61:14 record.
