JOKER Ilic announces another mega fight

Aleksandar Ilić has made a name for himself on the Czechoslovakian fight scene, especially with his title fight with Karlos Vemola at Prague’s Štvanica. Although he missed his chance to hold the Oktagon championship belt, he made an indelible mark on the minds of the local fans.

He then shocked the martial arts world three weeks ago when he put on an impressive performance in the Russian RCC organization. In the main event of the night, he knocked out Russian MMA legend Alexander Shlemenko in just 22 seconds.

His fans then eagerly awaited to see when and especially in what organization we would see his fighting skills next. After all, Ilic has signed a contract for his next fight with Octagon. Now the Serbian fighter himself has revealed the details of the next fight.

He revealed the star opponent and the huge payday

“70% of the fans want to see this fight next time, my and Mag’s fans voted for this fight,” Ilic revealed on his Instagram his next opponent, which will be the legendary Magomed Ismailov (17-3).

“When you see me in Moscow, you can call me Joker Santa,” he also hinted at the RCC organization where the fight will take place. “The new Santa Claus is here, I will give Mago a big present because he was a good boy and listened nicely,” he promoted his next big fight.

“They want a boxing fight because they’re afraid of the left kick,” he also revealed that this time it won’t be a classic MMA fight, but a duel under boxing rules. “Everybody is scared, but I have bigger balls than they think and I will show it again,” he added.

In the comments section of the post, we can also read that Ismailov will earn 30 million rubles per fight with Ilic, which is more than 12 million CZK in Czech crowns. Ilic is expected to have a similar payout after his last performance.

Compared to the domestic Octagon, JOKER will of course earn significantly more. No wonder he is currently looking for fights more in Russia.
