After the defeat to Attila Vegh he was visibly devastated, after the loss to Patrik Kinclo it was no different. But Karlos Vémola decided to go for an interview and describe his feelings. However, there was also a question about the end of his career and the Terminator admitted that he probably has his last fights ahead of him.

There has been talk of this for quite some time. Karlos Vémola has had a great career at the age of thirty-seven, but lately his health hasn’t been holding up too well.

Moreover, after the defeat to Patrik Kinclo, the speculations have been further stirred up and we were waiting for the first words from Vémola. Now he has decided to speak at length on the Fight Cast One podcast.

“The fight turned out the way it did and I just have to admit to myself that my body just doesn’t give it anymore. The guys I used to beat, I can’t beat anymore. I can’t dominate. Every ride comes to an end and this was a great ride.

I just don’t want to end up like some stubborn kid after a loss. I’m gonna take my hand and my word for it. I’ve already made arrangements with the Octagon to go with the winner of Langer vs. Poppeck. I’ll keep it! No matter what happens, I’ll defend the belt.

After that, we agreed to fight Attila Vegh. Yes, I reported before the fight that the fight with Attila Vegh, if I don’t win against Kinclo, is probably not worth it. I still think so, because Attila Vegh is better. On the other hand, I was touched when Attila said he lost too and I gave him a chance.

I appreciate what he said and because it’s signed and agreed, it won’t be my fault. If both Octagon and Attila are interested in the fight, I’ll take it. However, that will be the grand finale. That will be my last fight, when I say goodbye to this whole ride,” Vémola said.

So we can expect to see the last fights of his career. The first one could come as early as at Štvanici, but it’s a big question with whom, as the interim champion probably won’t want to fight so soon.

But that might not bother Vemola that much. As he admitted himself, he would like to enjoy the last year of his career to the maximum, so he wants to catch a few more fights.

And then what? That’s in the stars, but Vémola could undoubtedly find a job in the organization itself, as Ondřej Novotný admitted some time ago. He will definitely have no shortage of work.
