Is it dangerous to be a translator today? Sanikidze’s manager responds to Keita’s harsh words
In just one month we will see an attractive title fight in the Oktagon. The champions Mate Sanikidze and Losene Keita will face each other. Things are simmering between the two fighters and this is confirmed by a recent post from the organization itself, which quoted Keita. The Georgian fighter’s manager responded to it.

Bratislava has a lot to look forward to. The main fight at OKTAGON 42, which will take place on April 29, will be catered by champions Mate Sanikidze and Losene Keita, as the latter intends to steal the title from the Georgian fighter.
Things are heating up between the two champions. It was also evident at the OKTAGON Time press conference in Ostrava in March, when Keita in particular was sniping at his opponent, taking advantage of the fact that Sanikidze still has problems communicating in English.
Sanikidze lost his temper at times and several times both fighters stood up and headed towards each other, so that the promoters had to keep them apart. The fans were entertained and it was clear that the plot was taken care of.
During March, however, there was unpleasantness when Sanikidze was arrested during anti-government protests. That was when Keita sportingly stood up for him as well. However, since the Georgian is free again, his rival has been poking at him again.
For example, Octagon shared Keita’s words about the lightweight champion beating not only Sanikidze but also his translator. And it was the translator and also social media manager Giorgi Kokiashvili who responded to the post.
“Being a translator today is dangerous… Have you ever faced threats for being your friend’s translator? Great, I have,” Kokiashvili expressed on social media.
So we have a lot to look forward to. The fight is still a month away, and we can expect both fighters to have a good shootout on social media.
