I’m Vémol’s biggest fan. But now the break has come and I have to prepare Pirate, says Attila Végh
The fight between Karlos Vemola and Attila Vegh happened two years ago. The Slovakian hasn’t fought since then, yet he has continuously claimed that he is a fan of Vemola. For his own benefit, of course. But he’s also the trainer of Samuel “Piráta” Krištofič.
The fight between Karlos Vemola and Attila Vegh happened two years ago. The Slovakian hasn’t fought since then, yet he has continuously claimed that he is a fan of Vemola. For his own benefit, of course. But he is also the trainer of Samuel “Piráta” Kristofich, who will fight him at the end of the year. What did he say about that?
The fight of the century, as the Octagon promoted it, happened two years ago. Karlos Vémola lost to Attila Végh by KO in the first round.
Végh took it as a career highlight and hasn’t fought since. Vémola, on the other hand, wanted a rematch, so he took fight after fight, and he’s on a 4 fight win streak since that loss.
“I’ve always said that I’m the most loyal fan of Karlito. As long as he wins, Attila is the biggest carp. Of course I wanted him to, but now the turning point has come when I really have to prepare this Pirate to eliminate him.
And if the Pirate wins, I’m going to go after the Pirate,” Végh said with exaggeration on the MMA Flying Around the World podcast.“He’s probably the toughest opponent Karlik has had after me,” he added.
The fight between Vemola and Pirate will take place on December 30 at the packed Oktagon 30 tournament.
If Vémola wins, he will have the title and will be closer to a possible rematch with Attila again. But that would almost certainly take place in a higher weight class.
