Aleksandar Ilic will take on Karlos Vemola around midnight tonight. He is the underdog in the fight, but there are good references from many sides. Now Samuel Kristofic, who has trained with the Serb several times, has also spoken.

Karlos Vemola wants to win the welterweight belt, according to the bookmakers he is a big favourite. But Aleksandar Ilic is definitely no pushover.

The Serbian is getting positive reviews from all sides and fans can look forward to an interesting fight. Samuel Krištofič, who knows Ilič, also spoke about this intense fight.

“I personally had the opportunity to spar with Ilic, I faced him in Thailand. He’s acool guy, a great guy, but he’s still mainly a stand-up guy… I don’t want to say he’s not good on the ground, but this is mainly a question of what he put into his preparation,” he said on his YouTube channel.

“Now it’s just a question of whether he actually hits anything there. If he does, he’ll win. On the other hand, though, if Karlos sticks it to him and takes it to the ground, that’s where his kingdom will be,” he added.

The Pirate thus seems to trust his rival Vemol more, whom he was planning to fight, but their fight hasn’t happened yet due to the Terminator’s injury.
