I never got more money for the fight, Vémola admitted about the fight with Kinclo. He offered a comparison with the payout for the fight with Attila
We are less than a month away from the most anticipated game of the year. Karlos Vémola will challenge Patrik Kinc for the middleweight title, whom he has already defeated once in the past. But aside from potentially ending a long-running feud, the Terminator is looking forward to the payday. It’s said to be very high.
30. december, O2 Arena, OKTAGON 38. On that very day, we will see a rematch that a year ago was not even hinted at. Patrik Kincl is now the middleweight champion and Karlos Vémola, holder of the welterweight title, will try to take his belt.
In less than a month they will face each other in the cage. After four and a half long years. Vémola won the first fight under the XFN banner, but now this fight will have a lot more intensity. There is a lot to look forward to.
And the Terminator can look forward to it too, as he admitted that he will get a nice payday. It’s no news that he’s the highest paid fighter in the Octagon. However, it’s no wonder. He’s active, he can sell himself outside of fights and he’s also earning money through various commercials.
The fight of the century? I’ll get a lot more for Kincelo, Vémola boasts
However, in an interview with Sport Café, he spoke about how big his payday for the fight with Kinclo will be. “I will now historically get the most money I have ever gotten for a fight. It will be more than for Attila and Marko. Maybe six times more than Attila,” he admitted.
“I still fought for 3 crowns for Attila. If I don’t step in, I won’t get that money. Do you think I’ll leave it there?” he dismissed outright speculation that perhaps he shouldn’t have entered the match.
Among other things, Vémola says he takes what he does marketing-wise as an obligation to pay his instalments, insurance or mortgage. Likewise, he wants to give his children everything they ask for.
But the question is whether he will be as happy about the money even if he loses. That could help the Octagon in particular, as it would immediately set up another big story that would more or less promote itself.
