I have a hard head, I can take a few shots, Vemola thought before the knockout. The Pirate didn’t involve him in his game. What’s the only mistake he made?

Karlos Vemola is facing a tough defeat. Disappointment oozes out of him in every interview or statement, but despite this, Terminator tries to analyze what went wrong in the fight with Samuel Kristofic. What mistake did he make?
This is not the end of his career he probably imagined in his nightmare. Karlos Vémola was no match for Patrik Kincl in May, then won two fights, but was badly knocked out by Samuel Krištofič at the end of the year.
The Pirate needed only one minute and 48 seconds to become only the second man after Attila Vegh to send the Terminator to dreamland. He provided a big surprise. He was the big underdog.
The question is what’s next for the Czech native. So far, it was speculated that after the duel with Krištofič, he could manage one more match during the spring before he faces Attila in Eden in June. But that was sort of counting on him not allowing a defeat.
But it came. And Vemola himself does not currently see the possibility that he will play another match before the Vetta Century. He even talked about what would happen if he wasn’t enough for Vegh. But he also tried to evaluate the loss to the Pirate.
Karlos Vemola made one mistake
“It’s nothing happy for any sportsman when he prepares for a long time for something and then it doesn’t work out. You can always do something better. One mistake cost me the game. The pirate may think I got sucked into his game, but I don’t think so,” said Karlos Vemola in the CNN Prima News studio.
“I was so confident that I didn’t want to rush and bring the game to the ground quickly. I believed that if I was in the stance, I had a hard head and I could take a couple of shots, knowing that if it didn’t go well, I would take him down. Then the Pirate did what not many dudes could do. He shut me down before I had a chance to do anything. That was the only mistake,” says the Terminator.
He certainly doesn’t want to deny his opponent the fact that he hit. Overall, in his opinion, the Czech native didn’t make many mistakes.
“I felt good the whole time. If I got a few hits that were uncomfortable, I would have moved the game elsewhere. But I felt good and then he shut me down. It wasn’t like I had anything forced on me. I have to work harder than the young guys. My odometer has more mileage,” Vemola said.
