Petr Kníže will challenge the champion David Kozma in Ostrava on Saturday 9th April. Four and a half years ago in their first match the legendary Monster won. But the Pink Panther won’t want to concede another loss. He will approach the match differently.
Ostrava will host the OKTAGON 32 gala next weekend. In the main event, challenger Petr Kníže and champion David Kozma will face each other. The two fighters have faced each other in the past, with the legendary veteran winning four and a half years ago.
“I couldn’t handle that fight mentally, I left with my head in it. It won’t happen now. I have to treat him as my equal, I have to believe in myself. He’s anicon, but I’m the champion of the Octagon, I’m much better mentally, he should be nervous,” Kozma expressed in the On Supervision series.
The champion is convinced that he has improved not only mentally, but also physically and in every aspect of the fight since the fight with the Czech MMA legend. He doesn’t accept a loss. But if it should happen, he wants a clear head.
Kozma also hinted at the direction his career could take if he had to quit MMA. For the last two months he has been working on his YouTube channel and, as he says, he enjoys being in front of the camera. So he can have a career as a youtuber as a backup.
And how’s Knight? He still has a camp in Poland to go, he’s undergoing a tough training camp and he’s more than confident enough to be a champion.
“I don’t care about the bullshit around me. I’ll just beat him and goodbye. That’s it. That’s what I’m here for, I’ve been saying that from the beginning. I‘ll just beat him again,” the legendary Monster let it be known.
