I am not avoiding a rematch between Kinclo and Vémola, says Novotný. But there are several obstacles in the way

Patrik Kincl has already officially and very directly asked for a rematch with Karlos Vemola. He wants to meet with Ondrej Novotny so they can agree on terms. How did the promoter of the Oktagon MMA organization comment on the situation?

When Patrik Kincl lost his last fight in the KSW organization to Robert Soldic, with whom he fought for the title, his rival Karlos Vemola said that the native of Hradec Kralove had no heart.

This, of course, prompted Kincl to react. Soldic, who also took a swipe at Vémola, defended him. So the rematch is in play, which the East Bohemian patriot openly and directly asked for.

So he wants to invite Ondrej Novotny, the promoter and owner of the Oktagon MMA organization, for a coffee to discuss the potential fight.

And what does Novotny say? Understandably, he has no reason to be bothered in any way. On the contrary. There’s a catch. “Karlos has a long run ahead of him. First he’ll be on Dec. 30 against Pirate, then he’s got a fight with Marpo on Feb. 26, and then we can have fun,” he was quoted as saying on his podcast MMA Flight Around the World.

“I guess we’ll see Patrick. It’s good for me. It gets people talking and speculating. These two will never come to terms. There might have to be a third fight. But I’m definitely not avoiding it. If we set some conditions, it can happen,” Novotny said.

But he is aware that Vémola will not have it easy. He is coming off an injury and there are not many games he could start. Moreover, given how the Terminator is constantly overworking himself, it cannot be ruled out that he could see another injury.
