How did the Vemola-Pirate game go? The Terminator gave the Octagon three options
The Octagon organization has already promised that we will see a fight between Karlos Vemola and Samuel Pirate Kristofich, which has been threatened due to Vemola not wanting to enter the octagon first. But everything is on track in the end. Why?
The Octagon organization has already promised that we will see a fight between Karlos Vemola and Samuel Pirate Kristofich, which has been threatened due to Vemola not wanting to enter the octagon first. But everything is on track in the end. Why?
30. this December, the biggest Czech MMA organization is hosting the Oktagon 30 tournament, which will be headlined by a fight between Karlos Vémola and Samuel Pirát Krištofič.
But this fight has been compromised, as Pirat is the interim champion, so Vémola should properly enter the octagon as the challenger, i.e. first, which he flatly refuses to do.
But after negotiations with both fighters, the fight is basically confirmed, so it seems that the Pirate and the organization have given in to Vémola to make the fight happen.
“I gave Ondra (Novotny) three options on how the fight could take place. Now the ball is in their corner. Ondra said he’ll translate it to Slovakia, how they’ll look at it. I don’t want to open up what those options are yet.
I still put myself in the role of building someone up. I made the fight with Attila and Attila benefited from it. Who cares about a Pirate vs Everybody’s interested in a Pirate vs. me match. Whoever you put Pirate against, basically nobody cares. I know that, Ondra knows that, everybody knows that. Itshould also be fair on my side,” Vémola said in an interview with Sport.
The two possibilities are fairly well known. Vémola suggested that the winner takes all the money, which the Pirate logically disagrees with. So the option that the Pirate goes first seems to have won, even though he holds the belt.
