Oktagon MMA has unveiled a replacement for the title fight in the O2 Arena in Prague. If necessary, Patrik Kincl and Karlos Vémola, the number three middleweight rankings, will fill in for one of the rivals.
The Octagon at Prague’s O2 Arena will have a title replacement. As is already customary, the organization unveiled news at its gala in Liberec and one of them was about the expected rematch, which we have been waiting for more than four years.
20. in May, all eyes of fans of the domestic MMA scene will be on the duel of the organization’s champions. In it, middleweight champion Patrik Kincl and his fated opponent Karlos Vémola will clash.
The fight was supposed to take place at the end of last year, but Terminator was forced to withdraw due to health problems. However, the belt holder eventually also reported an injury and the fight was eventually scrapped.
But the number one contender on the domestic MMA scene didn’t want to leave anything to chance this time and decided to make the fight happen, even if something happened again. If necessary, the third man of the Oktagon middleweight rankings is ready to step in.
This is the Polish fighter Robert Bryczek, known to the home fans, who in December in Ostrava knocked out the Algerian Driaie as only the second man in only 85 seconds.
Although Bryczek has a fight with British Bellator veteran Lee Chadwick announced for the same night, he will step in for any fighter if needed.
Hopefully that won’t be necessary and we’ll see the already twice postponed rematch at May’s Oktagon 43. The entire fan community is looking forward to the continuation of the great story of the Czech MMA scene.
