In the previous days, there were speculations that Karlos Vémola would like to appear at the October tournament in Germany and directly in the heavyweight division. Now he has modified his words and said that only in case of a title shot.
He is back to training after his surgery and would like to show already at the October tournament in Germany. He chose Hatef Moeil as his opponent and his words on OKTAGON Hype surprised many.
“I will fight anyone. If people don’t believe me, I’ll prove it to them by going to heavyweight,” he said. But now he has modified his words a bit, because he will only go to heavyweight if it is for the title.
“I would like to say one thing. I don’t want to fight at heavyweight. I’ll only get in if it’s a title fight. And I don’t think they’re going to give it to Kimball now that he’s only got one win under his belt.
It’s Moeil who’s riding a winning streak, plus he’s the star of Germany. Theycould definitely give him the belt,” he said in an interview with Kaocko.cz.
Will we see his next title fight? Probably not, as the promoter Ondrej Novotny himself admitted that he is counting on him at the end of the year.
But there is still a chance for this interesting fight and it would definitely attract a lot of fans to buy the PPV. However, the tournament in Germany will definitely be attractive even without it.
