Gamechanger? I’m convinced I have what it takes to win because I’m unstoppable, said Pirate Kristofich
When Samuel Kristofich’s participation in the Tipsport Gamechanger was announced, fans were ecstatic. Although the Pirate is definitely not one of the favourites, he has the quality and he can trouble many fighters. That’s why he has now sent a promotional message to his opponents via Oktagon.
Oktagon approached him with an offer before the project was even announced. However, Samuel Kristofich gratefully declined, as he couldn’t imagine constantly cutting weight.
Eventually, however, he decided to change his mind and became one of the members. However, he is definitely not one of the favorites in the challenging pyramid, even after the departure of two stars.
The organization is gradually releasing the opening pairings and the Pirate already knows his opponent. It will be none other than Alex Lohoré, with whom he has had a match scheduled in the past.
That didn’t happen, but the better of the two will be decided in early March. The loser will be sad, but will still be able to come back in theory thanks to the lucky looser system.
The Pirate has decided to send a clear message to his opponents through the Oktagon promo, explaining why he is the one who may end up dominating the project.
“My name is Pirate Kristofich and I’m going to put my name in bold letters in the world of MMA and leave a clear legacy behind. If I do not accept this challenge, Slovakia would not have a representative, which I would be sorry about.
That is why I have raised the flag and I am going to carry it proudly and represent our country. Because of this project I decided to return to the welter, in which I have already fought for the title and in which I became the King of Bratislava. I am fighting for myself and my family. I want to fulfill my goals, which is this project that I am going into with great gusto.
Of course, I want my family to be proud of me. I live for my daughter now. I want her to be happy that I’m her dad. When I was younger, we didn’t have it easy. My father didn’t exactly create good conditions for us. My father is my biggest role model and motivation to be a good dad, parent and person because he wasn’t, so because of that I know what I don’t want to be.
I’m convinced that I have what it takes to win because I’m unstoppable. I’m tough and I have great cardio. My mission is to prepare, go into the fight and win there. It doesn’t matter who I’m up against. I will win it for myself, for my family and for all of us – for Slovakia,” he said in the organization’s video.
