Octagon 33 in Frankfurt, Germany is coming up. The main event of the night features Ivan Buchinger and Losene Keita in a battle for the lightweight championship belt. The reigning champion from Belgium is certainly not lacking in confidence.

This Saturday we will see another gala of the biggest MMA organization, now not only of the domestic scene, because Oktagon has decided to expand west. A spectacular tournament will take place in Frankfurt’s Festhalle, featuring the biggest stars of Czech-Slovak and German MMA.

The main event of the evening will be a duel for the lightweight championship. The current holder of two Oktagon belts, Slovakian Ivan Buchinger, will defend his belt. He is one of the veterans of martial arts. He is a former champion of M-1 Global and Cage Warriors, whereupon he even turned down the famous UFC several times.

He will be opposed by the Belgian phantom, young blood and interim champion Losene Keita, who flew into the Octagon in a big way. After only two fights in the organization, he earned a title fight thanks to his attractive style as well.

Buchinger is best known as a master of the submission and is the biggest threat due to his strength on the ground.

But the young Belgian is certainly not intimidated by his opponent’s skills. “I don’t care how strong he is, because I know he’s not good on the ground,” the 24-year-old Keita surprised the Octagon sight.

“I have better wrestling than him,” boasted the undefeated fighter. “They say he’s an animal on the ground, but he’s got to get me there first,” he boasted.

“I’ll throw him, you’ll see,” he added confidently. On Saturday, we’ll see if he lives up to his words. In his last fight, he was easily wiped out on the ground by Ronny Paradaiser, who knocked Buchinger out in the first round.
