First loss in Gamechanger! Eckerlin injured and will not be able to play in Ostrava

Unfortunately, he will miss the March tournament in Ostrava and is out of the running for the million euro prize. His match with Melvin van Suijdam of the Netherlands will not take place.

The organization has not yet specified who will replace him in the elite 16, but it might be one of the substitutes who will also appear in Ostrava.

In particular, Radovan Úškrt, Ioannis Palaiologos, Andrej Kalashnik and Matúš Juráček. It will probably be one of the opening two.

But we can really only speculate on that. Octagon has indeed been dealing with a large number of injuries in recent days, and this is one of the bigger blows for the organization.

Eckerlin was definitely not one of the favorites, but given his popularity in Germany, it would be desirable to have him in Gamechanger.
