Fight with Sivak in MMA? Make him live up to his words. But I already know he’ll refuse, Magard said
The tournament, which the domestic combat sports scene is looking forward to, starts in a few hours. The highlight of the Oktagon Underground tournament will be the fight between Vemola and Marpo, but the best fight may be provided by others. What about, for example, Magard and Sivák? Not only the Danish champion spoke about that.

Most fans are most looking forward to the Vemola vs. Marpo fight, but many suspect that the biggest talk will come a few fights earlier.
Jonas Magard, the organization’s champion, will challenge Vaclav Sivak, the WAKO kickboxing champion. And it’s definitely going to be something to watch.
The two will also have a lot of verbal sparring, which will make the fight even more attractive. What did the Danish Shark, as he is nicknamed, say about his opponent?
“He is good, but he still has a few holes in his game. He has an attractive aggressive style, but people have to look at who he fought against. He’s never faced someone like me, there can be no doubt about that,” he told Refresher.
But he also praised him. “Sivak is probably the best stand-up guy they could have offered me. And that’s what drives me forward. I’m not interested in some poor guy. I want to get out of my comfort zone because that’s how I can grow,” he added.
Even before their first fight, they had arranged a second, in MMA. Sivak could be going for a title in his first ever MMA fight, which is certainly not common.
“He got an offer and I’m not going to wait for anyone. He’s complaining that he’s not getting paid enough, so let him go to MMA where the money is better. We’ve got it on camera that he says he’s going to do it, so let him live up to his words. But I already know he’s going to say no,” Magard finished.
