Will the best MMA event of the upcoming year be the first one? It can’t be ruled out. If everything goes well, OKTAGON 31 could offer a really great spectacle. On Monday night, another great fight was announced.
OKTAGON 31 will take place on February 26th. If all goes well, it should be hosted by Prague’s O2 arena.
Originally two title fights were on the schedule, but one of them has been dropped for now. The main fight will be between Pirat and Patrik Kincl, while the second title fight was supposed to offer a rematch between Viktor Pest and Stephan Pütz.
However, it seems that Octagon didn’t agree on all the details with Peseta, plus the fighter is not under contract, which bothered him the most.
However, if the welterweight champion does not appear in the tournament, his fight with Pütz will be replaced by an extremely attractive duel between two lightweights.
In the last tournament, Losene Keita showed off to the fans by stopping lightweight number three Karol Rysavy in the first round. He showed incredible dominance, pressure and tremendous power. He immediately asked for a fight with Ivan Buchinger, but he has to fight his way to that.
Ronald Paradeiser is on a winning streak and he immediately challenged him. “I’m always hungry. I challenged him because he showed a dominant performance. He wants the title, so do I. It could be a very good and even fight for a future challenger,” he expressed.
