Date of the rematch with Vemola? It’s up to the Octagon. At the end of the year would definitely suit me, Attila admitted
Karlos Vémola is recovering from injury and has two games scheduled. However, he is still dreaming of one that is getting closer and closer, and that is the rematch with Attila Vegh. He is also interested in the fight, but we still don’t know the date, and it is generally expected that we could see it at the end of the year.
But everything will depend on health.
When Vémola got injured in November, there was a lot of grief. We didn’t get a rematch with Patrik Kinclo, who also withdrew from the last tournament of the year.
However, his health is improving extremely well and Vémola has scheduled two fights for the first half of the year. The first one will be in Liberec in April and a month later he will face Kinclo.
That is if everything goes well. He himself would also be happy to finally see his dream rematch with Attila. He is interested in the fight and according to the earlier words of all parties it seems that everything is verbally agreed.
However, the fight is still not officially arranged, so we don’t even know the possible date. However, given Vemola’s workload and the length of Vegh’s preparation, it probably won’t be before the last tournament of the year at the O2 Arena.
“I’ve already started working on the boxing fight and I said I would like to take the fight with Karlos afterwards. I’m lacking motivation for another MMA fight, but I would go for a rematch with him. He’s been waiting three years for it, so now it’s up to OKTAGON.
If they give us a date, we’re in. Maybe at the end of the year would be good for me. I don’t have anything to prove to anybody anymore, I’ve already beaten Carlos once and I’ve got it sorted in that respect, but I’m interested in business.
This is an opportunity to make interesting money for myself and OKTAGON,” Végh told Kaocko.cz. He hinted that he is also considering the speculated date and currently it seems to be the best option. Vémola would definitely not be against it.
