Cepo before fight with Peñaz: I will definitely prepare to fight him and fight him on the canvas

In April we will finally see the resolution of the dispute between Vlast Čep and Matěj Peňáz. Their fight will take place in Bratislava and there is definitely something to look forward to. Čepo has now outlined his tactics for the fight.

We were supposed to see the fight between Čepo and Peňáz last year, but due to the injury of the Czech fighter everything was postponed and then we were waiting for the fight to be arranged again.

Finally, it happened at the last tournament of the year, where Peňáz won, and it was finally confirmed that we can look forward to their fight in April.

More precisely, at the Oktagon 42 tournament, which will take place on April 29 in Bratislava. And now there are already questions about what tactics the fighters will use in the fight.

Cepo is known for being more of a pub brawler who goes head to head. So we can expect more of a stand-up fight where both are strong.

“Everyone expects me to fight like I always do. As far as tactics go, I’ll definitely prepare to wrestle and fight him on the canvas.

I think I’m physically stronger, and it often happens that two stand-up guys get on the ground or on the mesh, where they’re then on for a longer period of time. From this point of view I have something in my head, but it will be fine-tuned just before the fight,” he said in an interview with Sport.sk.
