Buchinger responds to criticism of Apollo: He didn’t prove anything, he has no right to insult me! He wants to make himself visible to me
Ivan Buchinger already has two titles in the Octagon organization. He’s aiming for a third, at welterweight, to take it from David Kozma. But Leandro Silva, known as Apollo, who lost to Kozma, has come forward and would like to fight Buchinger.
Ivan Buchinger already has two titles in the Octagon organization. He’s aiming for a third, at welterweight, to take it from David Kozma. But Leandro Silva, known as Apollo, who lost to Kozma, has come forward and would like to fight Buchinger. The Slovakian fighter has now responded to the Brazilian’s insults.
Leandro “Apollo” Silva defeated Robert Bryczek and Alex Lohoré in the Octagon organization, thanks to which he was able to face the champion David Kozma, who narrowly defeated him.
The welterweight title thus remains Kozma’s and it is Ivan Buchinger who wants to take it from him, having already won the title in two weight classes and now wanting a third.
Apollo is trying to take advantage of this, having insulted Buchinger on social media. “Dream on, you stupid Buchinger. You’d take a worse beating than you took from Conor McGregor. Let’s go OKTAGON on this. Ondra, Palo, I’d be honored to kick his p**s before I f**king break Kozma again,” Apollo wrote on Instagram.
Buchinger decided to respond to those words. “I see him as a good fighter in his weight class, but a fighter like that has no right to insult me. However, he hasn’t proven anything yet. He has no accomplishments or belts. Unlike me.
I’ve been a champion in several world organizations. I think I’m a really strong wolf, and that’s why I’m asking Who the f*ck is that guy? That he wants to fight me? He’s no champion.
I’m embarrassed that he’s trying to make a name for himself. The only one who has the right is David Kozma, who holds the belt. But somehow he got quiet when he found out the wolf was coming. Just to make it clear to everyone who I want!” wrote the Slovakian fighter on Instagram.
The Buchinger-Apollo fight is not expected to happen. The Octagon will surely want to feed off Buchinger’s success and give him the opportunity to beat Kozma. But his priority now has to be defending his first title.
