Boráros commented on the betting case: you are complete idiots! I don’t know why everyone has such evil thoughts and why they want to do harm
For a month now, the scandal surrounding the fight between Gábor Boráros and Kirill Medvedovski has been going on. In connection with his win in the second round, the bookmakers recorded suspicious bets and the Slovak police are currently investigating. The Slovakian fighter has now spoken out and no nice words have fallen.
The case has been going on for a long month, with Gábor Boráros avoiding interviews. But now he decided to make a statement and chose rather harsh words.
However, if you’re not too familiar with the case, in a simplistic way, bookmakers have noted the suspicious bets on Boráros to win in the second round, which he spoke about extensively before the tournament.
He was pulled from both the Oktagon and Fabriq tournaments due to suspected rigging, and everything is being investigated by the Slovak police, as the bookmakers have already filed criminal charges.
So now the Slovak has spoken out and we offer a transcript of some of his words. It must be explained, however, that for almost the entire video he did not say anything that would explain the case more and rather he was talking to the public.
“I don’t know why everybody has such bad thoughts and why everybody wants to do harm. Everybody is just doing bad things. Completely unnecessary. You are not right at all. That’s why I’m going to give a detailed interview in which I’ll comment. The kind of c**t you’ve written everywhere, it’s unbelievable.
Actually, I’m not even surprised because I didn’t expect anything else. I will explain everything because I have the right to express myself. My opponent got hurt in the second round. Is it my fault he got hurt? I won without a KO or a submission.
I wanted to continue the fight into the third round because I wanted to make the most of it. I wanted to make the fight as long as possible. He got hurt, but I’m the bad guy? I forgot to say, you keep mentioning the bookie and other crap, but I don’t even know how the bookie works.
I’ve never bet on anything. Football, MMA, tennis, nothing. I’ve never put a penny or a euro into it. Then you’re making up that rigged match? Oh, God. You are complete idiots…” he said in a statement on Instagram.
Where the truth is at the moment, only he probably knows. Now we have to wait for an investigation into the whole situation, but that may drag on for a long time indeed. That said, we are more likely to see Boráros in Clash of the Stars than in professional organizations.
