FC Bayern Munich have acquired a new signing in Bryan Zaragoza. However, the Spanish winger will join the Munich club in the summer. Until then, he will continue to work in Granada, which will receive 15 million euros for this transfer.

Sky’ s information coincides with reports from Spanish TV El Chiringuito, which first reported the upcoming transfer. The two clubs have been in contact for some time.

Sporting director Christoph Freund was already interested in acquiring the 22-year-old winger. Bayern, however, were not the only club tracking the player, with rivals RB Leipzig among the candidates to acquire him.

Bryan Zaragoza

Zaragoza has already made his debut for the Spanish national team, for whom he played for the first time on 12 October against Scotland. He is a very agile and quick player who seeks one-on-one battles and navigates tight spaces. He is only 164 cm tall and has a low centre of gravity, making him difficult for opponents to tackle.

The Málaga native has played 51 competitive games for Granada so far, scoring 10 goals and assisting 3 more. Last season, he and his team were promoted to the top Spanish league, but now the charges of new coach Alexander Medina are fighting for salvation.

Granada are currently second to last in La Liga with 7 points. Zaragoza, meanwhile, is one of the few positives when we are talking about clearly the best player in the team.

The future

The player is only 22 years old, this is a great promise for the future. In the meantime, he will continue to pick up much-needed minutes at Granada and will move to Bayern, where he is under contract until 2028, in the summer.

Munich, who are currently second in the Bundesliga, are bringing in another big talent after the recent announcement of the transfer of 17-year-old Nestor Irankunda.

Other signings such as Portuguese international João Palhinha from Fulham are also in the works. Bayern have been interested in him for some time and a transfer was imminent at one point. However, nothing has been officially announced yet.
