Bayern Munich is also thinking about the future. A 17-year-old talent named Nestory Irankunda has been scouted in Australia. He should arrive in Germany in July 2024.

Bayern has a keen eye for players from non-traditional footballing countries. From Canada they brought young Alphonso Davies, who came in as a winger and gradually turned into one of the best left backs in the world.

This time he’s looking to Oceania. In Australia, he’s taken a liking to the only 17-year-old talent Nestory Irankunda. The young footballer plays for the Australian U17 team, but has already been called up to the senior national team.

The Tanzanian native has already played 39 competitive games for Adelaide United. He has managed to collect 9 goals and 2 assists.

The skillful striker can play great direct kicks, and he also shows great physical readiness and great bounce in his acrobatic celebrations.

Irankunda will play for Adelaide until July 2024, after which he will join Bayern Munich. He will not come of age until February next year.

“We’ve been tracking Nestory for some time and we’re delighted to have agreed a deal with him and Adelaide United to transfer to Munich next summer. We would like to thank the management at United for always good discussions. Nestory is an extremely quick winger, good at dribbling and finishing and has great strength. We are convinced of his potential and that he will take the necessary next steps with us,” Jochen Sauer, Director of Youth Development, told the club website .

On the other hand, the first named in this article may be on his way out. Alphonso Davies is reportedly refusing to extend his contract, which expires in the summer of 2025, and Real Madrid are said to be very interested.
