Attila Vegh’s new organization has potential! FABRIQ offers an interesting mix, also thanks to the connection with the Octagon attracts more than RFA
MMA organizations in the Czech Republic and Slovakia have recently increased. The clear leader remains and will probably remain for a long time Oktagon. However, the position of the number two is not so clear. It may be occupied by the new brand FABRIQ, which was started by Attila Végh in cooperation with Oktagon. What attracts her and why watch her?
MMA organizations in the Czech Republic and Slovakia have recently increased. The clear leader remains and will probably remain for a long time Oktagon. However, the position of the number two is not so clear. It may be occupied by the new brand FABRIQ, which was started by Attila Végh in cooperation with Oktagon. What attracts her and why watch her?
RFA and the assault on the number one position? Thanks to the creation of FABRIQ There may not even be a number two
RFA was created a year ago with a clear goal. To become number one within a year and to be better than the Octagon. But the reality doesn’t look optimal yet. The fan interest in the tournaments is not great, the money invested looks like money wasted, and overall we can’t even talk about much media interest.
Even the improving quality of the matches does not improve the position of the whole organisation. For the time being, the most it can do is to fight for the number two position with the Czech organization I Am Fighter. The legendary reviving GCF with its new management can also potentially come into play.
But it may not take long and the position of the second best organization on the Czechoslovak territory may be sovereignly occupied by FABRIQ. The brand, led by the legendary Attila Vegh, understandably works with Oktagon and offers the perfect mix.
The first FABRIQ tournament showed great potential
Samuel Krištofič behind the microphone, Robert Kmet’o took over the cage interviews and the names of the fighters were announced in the Octagon by rapper Patrik “Rytmus” Vrbovsky. Add to that the fact that FABRIQ is led by Attila Végh and you have a very tempting project.
The very first tournament, which took place on Saturday, offered a great spectacle. We were treated to some big stars, their stories and names well known from the Octagon. For example, Denis Farkas, Roman Paulus and Gábor Boráros were in action, while the main match was provided by Vladimir Lengál and Karol Rysavy.
Attractive fights, big names of the domestic scene and surprising results. In addition to professional fights of big stars, the tournament also offered amateur fights, with FABRIQ intending to introduce the public to the biggest talents of the domestic scene, whom they think can break through to the pros.
It should be noted that the fans liked this mix as well. The hall in Trnava with a capacity of almost 2000 seats was very well filled and the atmosphere was definitely worth it.
The second tournament will feature more big names, we already know the first
It can be expected that FABRIQ will be touring more smaller cities especially in Slovakia. It may thus partially replace the OKTAGON Prime tournaments, which were held in smaller towns and where less busy fighters were given space.
Now we know that the second tournament will take place in Nitra. The biggest star and the main attraction will be Vojto Barborik, a native of Nitra, who last fought on the soil of the American PFL organization. On the domestic scene he last staged a spectacular battle with the legendary Ivan Buchinger.
The gala evening will take place on February 25 next year. So there is a lot to look forward to. The Octagon is sure to deliver other interesting names. In addition, FABRIQ does a great job with amateur fights that give talented fighters or talented fighters a chance to showcase themselves to the wider public.
