Karlos Vémola faces a difficult situation. He has health problems, his rematch with Patrik Kinclo has been cancelled and it may not be the final one. In addition, he is under fire from the fans. Now he has been defended by Attila Végh, who also spoke about a potential rematch.

Octagon has planned a grand finale for the end of 2022. A sold-out O2 Arena was to see the tournament number 38 and the main event was to be handled by Patrik Kincl and Karlos Vémola.

But the first days of December already suggested that the fight could be in danger. The organization hoped that this would not be the case, but unfortunately in vain. The Terminator was injured, ended up in hospital and his condition was believed to be serious.

In addition to Vemola himself, this is also an inconvenience for Octagon or his opponent Kinceloe, who faces a tough choice because of this. To make matters worse, there has been a wave of criticism against the Olomouc native.

Now the legendary Attila Végh has come to his defence. “Karlos is having a bad time. He has health problems. I keep my fingers crossed for him to get better. It’s not funny. I always say people are evil. When a man’s card goes, he’s a carp, but when it doesn’t, he’s a carp,” he expressed at the Fight Night Challenge press conference.

“People have the opportunity to talk about Karlos making things up and faking it, but that’s not the case at all. I texted him and he was really devastated. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for him that things work out,” he added.

What about the rematch?

The former Bellator champion also talked about a possible rematch, which was planned for the end of 2023. He said that it would depend mainly on Vemola, who he said is “drained to the max.”

So now it is all about the Terminator getting his health back together and focusing on one thing. Attila claims that if Vémola fights every three months and his body is extremely stressed, he can expect more health problems.
