The domestic fight scene has been boiling over in recent days. A huge stir among fans and the professional community was caused by the announcement of Oktagon MMA about the next fight of Karlos Vemola at the Oktagon 41 gala in Liberec.
This would be nothing special, but the tournament is to take place just five weeks before the expected title duel for the middleweight champion belt with Patrik Kinclo. the ‘Inspector’ and his fans are of course giving Karlos a hard time because they are afraid of another postponement of their fight.
But not everyone is condemning Vemola. Surprisingly, Attila Végh is one of those who have expressed words of appreciation about the soon return of the `Terminator’. pumukli is going against the tide and has not joined the side of the haters.
On the contrary, he expressed his admiration on his social media for how quickly Vémola was able to recover from his adverse health condition. According to doctors, he was even at risk of death due to thrombosis.
“My Karl, you are the biggest fool I know,” Attila Végh said in a video post on his Instagram. “You almost fell at the end of the year and now I see Liberec, then I see Patrik Kincl, you have no bottom,” he shook his head in approval.
“Normally, I’m thinking of giving you a chance for the rematch, but it still has to be worth it, as I said before,” he said, luring fans to a possible rematch of the Match of the Century. “Hats off to you, you’re a big carp,” he said to his rival.
So will we get the fight the entire domestic combat sports scene is craving at the end of 2023? A packed O2 Arena in Prague and a big rematch would make for a beautiful end to the year.
