A stand collapsed under Vitesse fans during the celebrations! The crazy footage shocked even the players themselves
Absolutely insane footage seen first hand by Vitesse players. They beat Nijmegen 1-0 in an away game, but the celebrations with the fans were far from tragic.

The Dutch Eredivisie is famous for its passionate fans, and supporters of almost all clubs can create one hell of an atmosphere.
Even on the pitch. Several Vitesse supporters went to the Nijmegen stadium to see for themselves the 1:0 win that Frederiksen scored in the 16th minute.
However, at the end of the match, a tragedy almost occurred during the celebrations with the players. The fans, together with the Vitesse players, were jumping and celebrating the victory when suddenly a part of the stands couldn’t take it and collapsed.
The players were like scalded, they stopped jumping and were scared of what was happening. With great luck, no one was seriously hurt, and even in the collapsed stands the fans kept celebrating the victory.
This is what the collapsed part of the stand looked like in the away sector at Nijmegen Stadium::
Vitesse can show their fans again on Thursday when they play Tottenham at home in the Conference League. The home stands will hopefully be well prepared for a possible onslaught.
