The rematch between Karlos Vemola and Attila Vegh is fast approaching. The fight is still not officially announced, but it is generally expected to take place next year. What did Attila himself say?

When Attila Vegh stopped Carlos Vemola, talk of a rematch began immediately. However, the Slovakian with Hungarian roots clearly declared that he didn’t need the fight and would only make it happen if there was an above-standard payday.

Now their rematch is close, with all three parties having several negotiations behind them and it is generally expected that it could happen next year, probably around the middle of it.

A deal is in the offing, as evidenced by the various statements all parties are making. However, an official announcement is still quite far away.

“Yes. I can confirm that we are now the closest we are to having that rematch. I haven’t signed any contract yet, but verbally we have more or less agreed. So we’ll see what happens,” Végh told Kaocko.cz.

What are we waiting for now? That’s the question, the promotion of such a match can be expected for many months in advance, although the tickets will definitely disappear in a moment.

Maybe we will also see the novelty of a football stadium that could hold a record number of people. Of course, the organization hasn’t hinted at anything like that yet, but maybe we’ll find out at the year-end tournament.
