A great tribute to Oktagon! In the prestigious poll aspires to the award for the best organization of the year, in the nominations are also Novotny and Gamechanger stars

The World MMA Awards server became famous in the Czech Republic for the first time only a year ago. This was mainly because the award for the best fight of the year went to Jiri Prochazka, who defeated Glover Teixeira.

Now the nominations for the past year have been announced. Specifically, the awards are given for the period from July 1, 2022 to June 31, 2023. While there is no Czech fighter in the nominations, there is a very good representation of Oktagon.

It is not surprising that the Czechoslovak organization is beginning to be noticed by the world media and therefore also by the aforementioned server. The World MMA Awards are one of the most prestigious in the sport, they have been awarded since 2008.

Oktagon can be found in the nomination for the best organization of the year alongside such brands as UFC, Bellator, PFL and KSW. It is therefore in the top five. What a great achievement. Promoter Ondrej Novotny received a similar honour, aspiring to win the best leader award alongside Dana White.

And that’s not all. In the nomination for the award for the best submission of the past year we find Louis Glissman and his omoplata in the match with Melvin van Suijdam, John Hathaway for a change can get the award for the best comeback of the year.

The awards are decided by the fans, who can cast their votes directly on the aforementioned page.
