A failed return of a Czech fighter! He stood for almost 2 years, in Liberec he was badly finished by a German puncher, he left the cage on a stretcher
One knockout after another. OKTAGON 41 offered a great spectacle from the very beginning. In addition, we also got a few surprises, unfortunately to the detriment of the Czech fighter Ondrej Raska. Jaime Cordero made a name for himself.
One knockout after another. OKTAGON 41 offered a great spectacle from the very beginning. In addition, we also got a few surprises, unfortunately to the detriment of the Czech fighter Ondrej Raska. Jaime Cordero made a name for himself.
The last time he stood in the cage was in July 2021. Ondrej Raška has subsequently struggled with various health problems and now he was to make a sweet return. He made his first appearance at OKTAGON 41 when the Czechoslovak number one organization showed up in Liberec.
The opponent was the Czech fighter Jaime Cordero, a participant of the German Oktagon Challenge. Raška had challenged the German fighters from the German version of the reality show before, he wanted to measure his strength with them and show that MMA is a bit further away in our country.
Cordero presented himself in the Challenge with interesting performances. He showed a good, albeit static stance, a hard chin and not so good ground. That’s also why Rashka was the favourite, as he is very capable in wrestling and he had to hurt the German fighter.
But Rashka crashed hard after his first unsuccessful attempt to take the fight to the ground. Cordero confirmed that he has a dangerous grenade in his hand, that he has hard kicks and that the middleweight division could potentially suit him.
For Cordero, by the way, this was his first middleweight fight in the Octagon, having only fought at welterweight before and losing his previous fight due to a disqualification after an illegal kick against Jakub Bahnik.
Now, however, the German made amends and sent Raschka down with a hard bomb after one minute and seven seconds and landed several more on the ground.
The Czech fighter left the cage on a stretcher and took some time to come to. So this is an unlucky return, while Cordero, on the other hand, asked for more attention. Can he measure up to the middleweight elite?
