A big blow for the Oktagon 38 tournament! Patrik Kincl rejected his opponents and we won’t see him at the O2 Arena
The injury of Karlos Vemola unfortunately deprived us of two excellent fighters in the final tournament of the year! Patrik Kincl will also not be in the O2 Arena, for obvious reasons he declined to play against the replacement opponents.
The injury of Karlos Vemola unfortunately deprived us of two excellent fighters in the final tournament of the year! Patrik Kincl will not be in the O2 Arena either, for obvious reasons he declined to play against the replacement opponents.
Another blow for the Oktagon 38 tournament. First came the announcement of the absence of Karlos Vemola, who unfortunately can’t get his health together for the tournament.
Subsequently, possible replacements for Patrik Kinceloe were discussed, with some fighters declining the offer, and others rejected by the middleweight champion himself.
And when it didn’t work out on either side, the organization had no choice but to inform its fans that we won’t see Kinc at the O2 Arena.
“Nate Diaz, Tom Breese and Apollo. Patrik Kincl will not be at the O₂ Arena. UFC veteran and world #76 Tom Breese has agreed to the fight, as has former #80 Apollo, who made legendary fights with Kozma or, most recently, Velickovic.
Nate Diaz unfortunately had demands that we were unable to meet. The champion Patrik Kincl unfortunately declined all options and is withdrawing from the tournament.
“Patrik informed me that he has unpleasant health problems, but he is still motivated to play against Karlos,” said Ondřej Novotný.
We believe that the tournament is still attractive for all fans and we are working on other matches that will be entertaining,” the organization announced on its social media.
We will be deprived of a huge fight, but the card will still be packed. That being said, the main event will cater to Jonas Magard and Filip Mack in a title fight.
