As reported by the Italian well-known and trusted newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, Ronaldo wants to launch a legal action against Juventus for years due to unpaid wages. The now 38-year-old striker is demanding to be paid a net €19.9 million.

It is this money that the club allegedly promised the Portuguese legend when they agreed to defer his wages in the early months of the coronavirus pandemic.

These deferred wages, it should be noted, are part of the now infamous “salary manoeuvres” Of Juventus, which are the subject of another ongoing lawsuit.

Ronaldo has already requested the relevant documents from the Turin prosecutor’s office, so Juventus will have to deal with another lawsuit.

Dybala has withdrawn the lawsuit

Italian media also report that Paulo Dybala was also supposed to get his money back. However, the AS Roma striker agreed with the club on a sum of around €3 million and has now withdrawn his lawsuit regarding compensation for not renewing his contract after the initial verbal agreement.

Ronaldo was at Juventus for three years, specifically from 2018 to 2021. During that time, the Portuguese legend played 134 games in the jersey of the Turin giant, recording a record of 101 goals scored and 22 assists.

Dybala has defended the colours of the Turin club for a much longer period of time. The Argentine transferred to Juventus from Palermo in the summer of 2015.

He only moved to AS Roma in July last year. In total, he played 293 games in a Juventus jersey, in which he scored 115 goals and added 48 assists on top.
