Another star is on his way to join Ronaldo in Al-Nassr. Sadio Mané is expected to partner him in attack

Saudi Arabia continues to loot European football and destroy the salary structures. Several big stars headed to the Middle Eastern country over the summer and more are on the way. Sadio Mané is expected to become Cristiano Ronaldo’s teammate at Al-Nasser.

Cristiano Ronaldo has kicked off a storm this winter. When he signed a 200 million euro a year contract at Al-Nasser and other footballers saw that Saudi Arabia was offering them a gigantic contract too, many stars didn’t hesitate.

Karim Benzema and N’golo Kanté were among the first to head to the Middle East, followed by Edouard Mendy, Marcelo Brozovic, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Roberto Firmino and Ruben Neves, among several others.

However, the transfer window will last another month and other stars can be expected to go in search of luxury wages. Sadio Mané is expected to be one of the others.

According to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, the player’s agent will fly to Japan, where Al-Nassr is currently on a pre-season tour. The two sides are expected to agree on the figures of a potential deal, with Mané already giving the green light for negotiations.

The Senegalese striker would become the third star reinforcement for Cristiano Ronaldo. Croatian Marcelo Brozovic and left back Alex Telles have already arrived in the squad. There is also speculation about interest in goalkeeper David de Gea.

Mané was a Liverpool star for six years after arriving from Southampton. But then he failed to agree a new contract with the management as he demanded too much money and left for Bayern Munich for 30 million euros.

But the engagement in Germany did not suit him at all. The club’s management was not happy with him and he was not happy with his performance. Leaving could be a way out for both sides.
