Samuel Krištofič was the Octagon welterweight champion, but Patrik Kincl took it from him. The Pirate was without a contract after that fight, which he hasn’t signed anywhere yet. How does he see his future and what does he think about RFA?

Samuel Kristofich defeated Marcin Naruszczka a year ago to become the interim middleweight champion. Karlos Vémola was injured, plus the coronavirus came back, so he didn’t defend the belt until February.

However, he was short on Patrik Kinclo, so he lost his last fight in the Octagon so far. When is the next one? That’s in the stars, as he hasn’t signed a contract at the moment.

“I’m completely free now and I can confirm that I’ve received an offer from Bellator again. But on a date that was absolutely not suitable for me. Moreover, it was for a welterweight, where it doesn’t make that much sense for me. If they give me a fight for September or October, I’ll be ready. If not, then the home scene,” said Pirat on his YouTube channel.

Bellator has been interested in the past, but the offer was never good enough to accept. So if it doesn’t work out, he’ll likely only have two options.

He knows the Octagon, but the RFA will give him more money, so that organization is more likely. But RFA doesn’t have the fan base yet, and they don’t go to many tournaments either.
