Karlos Vémola vs. Michal Pasternak. Terminator announces comeback. But it won’t be easy. He says he’s got a much tougher opponent than he thought. What to expect from the duel and what to bet on?
The Terminator returns. While he recently had a boxing match with Marpo, he hasn’t fought under MMA rules in over a year. And it’s not exactly an easy comeback to say. He wanted a stand-up guy as an opponent, but he didn’t get that, quite the opposite.
Karlos Vémola still has the same style. Even though he trained boxing, he showed in his fight with Marpo that he didn’t train much for MMA. So he immediately tries to take the fight to the ground and torture his opponent there.
But beware. Michal Pasternak may go to the ground, but he will also threaten from his back. He’s a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and he’s got a knockout punch to boot. With Vemola having to watch out for his healed hand, it’s going to be interesting.
And should the Terminator win early? That’s probably not going to happen. The Polish fighter is a real tough guy, having also fought in Wotore, an organization that organizes MMA fights without gloves, and becoming a champion there. He’s only been knocked out once in his career.
However, the most likely thing is that the match will end on points. And there are decent odds of 1.60 on this possibility. It’s also worth the risk if the Terminator wins on points at odds of 1.70.
