He went from training in the park to the English Premier League. Even at the peak of his career, Tomáš Souček never forgets his fans who support and love him. The unadulterated joy of two young Hammers supporters is currently circulating around the world.
Tomas Soucek has been regarded as one of the Premier League’s biggest cheerleaders since his time at West Ham in the British Isles. He has always been supportive to the fans, and a year ago he stood up for referee Mike Dean, who the entire internet went into a frenzy after an erroneous sending off of Soucek.
Arriving at one of the training sessions in March, the Czech international delighted the Hammer family. His son and younger sister waved to Soucek, who stopped by with a smile and signed their jerseys.
The father of the two young fans posted the video on TikTok with the caption “When you wait for 5 hours outside the training centre for your favourite player.” Soucek was obviously pleasantly surprised by the situation and signed the mobile phone of the young West Ham supporter, who shouted enthusiastically that he loved him.
The young son concluded by explaining to Soucek that he regularly challenges him for his match jersey with a banner. The national team captain responded by saying “Maybe next time ” and took a picture with both children.
The video made the rounds of the internet, with Soucek once again being praised by British fans for his kind-heartedness. “Probably the most polite and best kid to be seen on the pitch right now,” Lee said on Facebook.
The willingness of the former Slavia captain was appreciated not only by Hammers fans. Once again, it was confirmed that Soucek is making a very positive advertisement for Czech football on the islands. “I’m not rooting for West Ham, but I respect this guy who makes kids dreams come true,” wrote Brandon.
