Lajos Klein won’t just go to Vémoland. What did he say about Vémol’s fight with Marp?

Lajos Klein fought for a new contract in the world’s largest MMA organization UFC at the UFC 272 gala and after a tactical performance he finally earned his continuation in the world’s top league. He was recently on Ondrej Novotny’s show and offered his opinion on Karlos Vemola’s boxing battle with Marpo, among other things. Hecertainly didn’t please the most popular MMA fighter on the domestic scene with his comments.

May’s Oktagon Underground will offer the main duel Vémola vs. Marpo

As we have already informed you, in May we will see a boxing tournament called Oktagon Underground under the auspices of the leading Czech-Slovak MMA organization Oktagon. The main fight of the evening will feature a long-delayed duel between Karlos “Terminátor” Vémola and rapper Marpo, who is returning from injury.

Although Vémola has repeatedly spoken disrespectfully of his opponent in interviews, calling him a disco fighter, bookmakers see Marpo as the favourite to win the fight under boxing rules.

Although Vémola’s strengths lie primarily on the ground, he has been involved in combat sports for more than twenty years and was originally thought by the general public to have the upper hand against his amateur opponent.

However, that has changed over the past few months and one of those who believe in a victory for the Czech rapper is Slovakian UFC fighter Lajos Klein. He spoke about the duel on Ondrej Novotny’s podcast.

Lajoš Klein offered his opinion on the expected fight

“I think Marpo should definitely win it, he has some fights in Thai boxing,” he offered his prediction in the podcast MMA Flight Around the World. “I believe Karlos has a bomb when he hits it, but when he boxes, I don’t think it’s good,” he assessed the skills of Czech MMA fighter Vemola.

The most popular Czech fighter on the domestic scene will rely on his experience and strength. “He is a good fighter, he has really extreme ground skills, but for a fighter who has been doing combat sports for over 20 years, he could have better hands,” Klein does not believe in Vemola’s boxing skills.

He’s certainly not pleased with Vemola’s statement

Vémola is known primarily as a big puncher and a man who simply has fighting in his heart. “I think that Marpo will be better physically,” Klein surprised not only the Oktagon promoter with his opinion.”So you will not just go to Vémoland, my friend,” Novotný said with exaggeration to the Slovak fighter. “You didn’t make a friend now,” laughed the charismatic promoter.

Vémola is known for his positive relationship with animals and has many exotic animals in his mansion, which he called Vémoland, including lions, crocodiles, etc. However, Klein’s opinion will not please him as he is very confident of his physical abilities in the expected fight.

We’ll see in May whose opinion will ultimately be closer to the truth and we certainly have a lot to look forward to. Besides the aforementioned Vemola and Marpo, we can look forward to other stars of the domestic scene. The organization recently announced that Vasek Sivák, Jonas Magard, Samuel Krištofič, Vlasto Čepo and Gábor Boráros will appear at the gala.
