Hitler’s gone. The fighter who was supposed to appear in the Octagon had his problem tattoo repainted. This is what he looks like now

OKTAGON 30, which took place at the end of last year, saw many changes to the match card. The stand-ups also got in on the action. One of them was supposed to be Radek Roušal, who was eventually prevented from fighting because it was revealed that he had a tattoo of Adolf Hitler on his arm. This sin has already been atoned for. The lineup for the last tournament of 2021 had to be decided by the Oktagon MMA organization until the last minute. Several fights were dropped due to injuries, some due to the coronavirus, others were postponed due to the move of the tournament from the O2 Arena to Brno.

The promoters decided to make a mixed tournament for the first time in history, where there were fights not only in MMA, but also in stand-up disciplines under the rules of Oktagon Underground. One of the fighters who were to be presented under these rules was Radek Rousal.

But even his participation was not possible. His good will and desire to fight in this case unpleasantly tarnished his career. Journalists and photographers noticed one of his tattoos, namely a tattoo of Adolf Hitler on his arm.

The pressure from the media and the public had done its work. Moreover, Octagon has long distanced itself from extremism and wants nothing to do with it. So Roušal did not enter the fight under the cover of the biggest Czechoslovak MMA organization.

He explained his mistake as stupidity from his youth. He said he was already booked for a rematch at the time. And it’s already done.

Octagon is now promoting the fight of Rouchal, who will fight under the affiliated organization Dracula Fight Night (DFN). Along with that, they released what the redone tattoo now looks like.

Hopefully, similar excesses will not be repeated. According to Rouchal, he has multiple inappropriate tattoos that he is gradually redesigning.
