Karlos Vémola has a tough few months ahead of him, his injury has not only not improved, but has gotten much worse, the ligament in his hand is dying and we may not see him fight next year. Jaroslav “Jubox” Pokorný had a similar injury. What did he say about Vémol?

After a three-year break, Jaroslav “Jubox” Pokorny returned to the world of MMA, who had interrupted his career for a long time due to a serious knee injury.
However, he didn’t hang his career on a nail, he returned in the Oktagon Prime 4 tournament and despite the defeat he is looking forward to his next fight. Vémola has a similar problem that Pokorný had in the past.
“After the surgery on my right leg, I caught the same inflammation as Karlos Vémola, that is golden staph. It ate the plastic surgery that the doctors did in my knee. Plus it ate away the cartilage, so I had to wait a long time. There was a good chance the inflammation would come back. I actually waited a year before they did the anterior cruciate ligament again,” he told iSport.
“For him, this will be the worst period he has experienced and let him prepare for it. It’s always a tough time for a fighter who can’t fight. Let him prepare for the fact that he will lose a lot of friends who have been patting him on the back. Let him prepare to stare at the wall and not know what to do with his body. But everything can be overcome,” he added.
Vemola now has to take a long break, we may not see him fight next year. The end of his career is also imminent, but a fighter like Vémola won’t let that happen.
Let Pokorný, who was even threatened with amputation many times, be his role model. However, Vémola must understand that rest is needed now and he should not spike anything in the gym.
