The former Spanish striker has recently gained media attention for his incredible physical transformation. Almost all fans remember Torres as a lean and agile striker, but that’s in the past. The new Fernando has literally wrapped himself in muscle.
But the youngsters at Atlético can rejoice, they will be led by a seasoned bombardier who has been through the national team and the best leagues. From a footballing point of view, he will certainly impart a lot of information to them, but at the same time he might also share how to put on muscle in the gym.
Although, that might not be a good idea, because it’s questionable whether such a transformation is only possible through natural means.
Either way, it has to be allowed that it suits the now 37-year-old Torres in coaching. See for yourself!
If we take a quick look back at Fernando Torres’ career, we have no choice but to tip our hat. He scored an impressive 293 goals at club and international level and won what he could!
His collection includes two trophies for European Champion (2008, 2012), he also became World Champion with Spain (2010), he won the Champions League (2011/12) and the Europa League (2012/13) with Chelsea. He also rejoiced in winning the Europa League with his beloved Atlético in the 2017/18 season.
